This project called ‘Amongst The Taff’ aimed to challenge the stereotype of wildlife photography by having blurry wildlife or wildlife exiting the frame. This technique was metaphorically showing the viewer that wildlife is disappearing if we continue to build on wild land. Many images include photographs of habitats of certain animals and yet they aren’t there. By including myself in the images it showcases the physical search and my failure, however it also questions if I should even be amongst these habitats and disturbing nature and the wildlife.
